DESTINATION

in and around the falls

If you do not want to canoe, but only visit the falls and hike the trial, an entry fee is applicable at the entrance to the park.

The forests around the river provide dark organic material that dissolves in the water like a teabag. This dissolved organic material stains the water brown.

HIKING TRAILS

A short trail takes you to the lookout over the falls. You can walk on the rocks on the side of the falls with a great view of the falls. Depending on the time of the year, you can walk on the rocks to the bottom of the falls. The trail continues along the river. You can take a packed lunch/snacks and eat on the rocks or along the side of the river.
